Remove Odor From Your Closet With Nok-Out
Nok-Out Will Eliminate Odor Associated with
Mold, Mildew, Tobacco and Body Odor
Between shoes, the laundry hamper and moisture related issues, your closet can get a little stinky sometimes. It is not nice when those odors start to get on your fresh clean clothes. If this is becoming a problem for you, Nok-Out can remove odor from your closet on contact, safely. Here’s how!
Method 1
Nok-Out does its work when it comes into direct contact with the source of the odor. Bearing this in mind, the question becomes how to get Nok-Out to come in contact with all of the odor source in your closet. You could just take a spray bottle and go into the closet and start spraying everything. That works, but it is not the easiest or maybe even the best method. There is an easier way that works quite well. Use a common household vaporizer or cool mist humidifier. These machines produce vapor that can fill your closet space with a Nok-Out “fog” that penetrates and doesn’t miss anything. This is the easy method. Here’s how to do it.
Fill the reservoir with a 50/50 mix of Nok-Out and tap water. Separate clothing on hangers so they are touching not all, or only lightly. Open drawers, spread clothing on shelves so air can circulate around them. Close closet door and allow the machine to run for one to two hours. This should be enough time to allow the fog of Nok-Out to penetrate deeply. At the end of that time period, open closet door and begin to air out the closet. You can promote faster drying by placing a floor fan in the closet. Repeat if needed. This is the easy way to remove odor from your closet and for most people, this will work fine.
This may not be your method of choice if your closet has no vents, or very little or no air circulation. In this case, try method 2.
Method 2
Remove clothing from the closet, shelves, or drawers. Using a trigger spray bottle, a pump-up garden sprayer, or the Fogmaster Jr. Sprayer, spray walls, flooring, ceiling, drawers, drawer liners, baseboard and carpet evenly with NOK-OUT. Shut the closet door for up to 15 Minutes, and allow NOK-OUT to penetrate into all of the crevices and corners of the room. While the door is closed, spray all clothing, shoes, and other garments with a dilute mixture of water and Nok-Out. Use 4 water to one Nok-Out when spraying clothing directly. Not all dyes are colorfast and it is never recommended to spray full strength Nok-Out on fabrics without first testing to make sure the dyes in the fabric are colorfast. Reopen the closet door, and using a floor fan dry the area completely. Replace clothing in the closet when it is thoroughly dry.
Although Nok-Out is non-corrosive and non-abrasive, it is always prudent to test fabrics before applying Nok-Out directly to them. Nok-Out is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, will not harm skin, or lungs, if breathed. If you follow these directions carefully, you can safely and reliably remove odor form your closet with Nok-Out.
