You Can Easily Disinfect or Sanitize Your Floor With SNiPER Disinfectant and Odor Eliminator
SNiPER is a great product to sanitize your floor. This non-corrosive product is friendly to your home and won’t harm surfaces – or you! – but the powerful formula will leave your floors shining clean and sanitized. The best part is, it’s easy and quick. At last, you can get rid of that nasty mop and pail and enter the world of CLEAN!
Here’s The Plan
1) Get yourself a ‘spray mop’, that has a liquid reservoir on the handle and which sprays directly onto the floor in front of the mop head. The mop head should be removable so it can be tossed into the wash when you are done. I like this one from O-Cedar (https://ocedar.com/p/mops/spray-mops/promist-max-microfiber-spray-mop/) but there are other brands, too. I have used one of these for years to sanitize the floor and it has proved quite reliable.
Don’t use an old style “string” mop. They are so dirty that SNiPER will immediately go to work trying to sanitize the mop itself, instead of your floor. The microfiber head on this mop can be easily removed to throw into the laundry. With this type of mop, you can say good by and good riddance to the old “mop and bucket” cleaning tools that your grandma used to use, and sanitize your floor the easy way!
2) Now that you have the right tools, start by giving the floor a good vacuum or a good sweeping.
3) You will need to dilute SNiPER by 6 parts water to one part SNiPER. It doesn’t need to be exact but around 6 to 1. You can do it right in the reservoir on the mop handle – this is the easy plan!
4) Now you are ready to sanitize your floor. Squeeze the handle to spray some diluted SNiPER out on the floor and mop as your normally would. You don’t need to rinse this solution away because it won’t leave harmful residues. Spray as needed and let the micro-fiber head pick up the dirt. When you are done, toss the removable mop head into the wash so it will be clean for next time.
What If I Need to Disinfect the Floor?
Disinfection is a different standard of “clean”. When you “sanitize” your floor, you will kill 99.9% of the germs in one minute of exposure to SNiPER that has been diluted by 6 parts water to 1 part SNiPER. To disinfect, you will need to go full strength and keep the floor wet with SNiPER for 10 minutes. You may need to go back and re-wet it depending on how fast it dries.

Hi, is Sniper safe to use on luxury vinyl plank flooring? They always warn against using certain cleaners on these floors. Is Nok-Out a cleaner too to use on hard floors or just for odor removal? Thanks!
April
Hi April,
NokOut and SNiPER are non-corrosive and would be highly unlikely to cause any harm to your floors. Especially if you are diluting it.
1. What is the difference between Sniper and Nok-Out?
2. I want to get rid of tobacco odors from an upolestry (sp) chair. What dilution do indie with my gallon of my Nok-Out?
Hi Donna,
1) The biggest difference is that SNiPER is registered with the EPA as a disinfecting product. Nok-Out is not registered and can only be considered an all purpose cleaner and odor eliminator.
2) A 50/50 dilution will work – or you can go full strength if it is a really tough problem. Please do test that the fabric is colorfast! It is highly unlikely that Sniper will cause any color “bleeding”, but better safe than sorry. SNiPER is non-corrosive and so this really shouldn’t be an issue.
